Haleakala is the crowning jewel of Maui, making up nearly 75% of the island. On this zipline adventure, soar along the slopes of this massive volcano; fly through towering trees; and float over seasonal pools on five different ziplines. Hike high above the forest floor on wooden-plank bridges and soak in the amazing tropical scenery during your 1.5 hours of sky-high fun.
Explore Maui’s famous Haleakala by zipline! This 1.5-hour zipline adventure takes you to the slopes of the Haleakala volcano, just minutes from the entrance to Haleakala National Park. It’s the perfect activity to for the whole family!
Travel along five ziplines and an ‘Indiana Jones’-style swinging bridge through a towering tropical forest. Throughout the tour, learn about Hawaii’s rich, diverse environment and Maui’s long ranching history from your professional, knowledgeable guide. What time do we need to check in for our tour?
We do require everyone to arrive (30) minutes prior to their tour time.
Where do we check in at?
Haleakala tour: check-in at our paviliion located on Crater Road on the way to Haleakala National Park.
Driving directions are included with your confirmation email.
What shoes can I wear?
Athletic or hiking shoes are required.
NO Teva’s, Keene’s, Crocs, Skeletoes or Sketcher Shapers allowed on the course.
Please note that we have a limited amount of shoes available for loan at Haleakala course for your convenience.
What should I wear?
• Long pants
• Light jacket (Haleakala & Akaka Falls).
• White clothing NOT recommended (Ka‘anapali).
Is there an age requirement?
Customers MUST be 8 years or older for the Haleakala course.
Anyone under the age of 18 will be required to complete their own waiver and have a responsible adult sign the form for them. This does not need to be a parent or legal guardian.
I’m going scuba-diving the day before my tour, is that ok?
Customers MUST NOT have been scuba diving within 24 hours of scheduled tour time.
What’s the cancellation policy?
We have a generous cancellation policy. 24 hours or more before your tour and you will receive a 100% refund. Less than 24 hours, no refund.
Are there any health issues I should consider?
You must not be pregnant.
Customers with serious neck, back, or joint injuries or chronic heart problems should use their own discretion about their capabilities to safely participate in this activity. It is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED that anyone with who has had recent surgery, especially on ankles, knees or their back, not participate in this tour. Although we try to always make customers comfortable both physically and mentally, some degree of impact on joints or some degree of customer anxiety about zipping is unavoidable.
Are there weight restrictions?
Customers MUST weigh 60 – 260 lbs. for the Haleakala course.
This Policy is STRICTLY ENFORCED, for your own safety. All participants will be weighed at check in and those that do not comply will not be allowed to zip and no refunds will be issued.
Is ziplining safe?
Skyline Eco-Adventures uses the highest quality equipment that is thoroughly inspected on a regular basis. We have safely crossed customers over millions of ziplines. The experience is very safe and extremely fun.
